Diagnosis
Body and legs with dense pubescence.
Antenna short, stout, 10 segmented and densely pilose; originating close to the mouth.
Malar space as long as eye.
POL greater than OOL. Notauli distinct.
Apex of scutellum broadly rounded.
Apex of metanotum with broad rounded tooth above.
Hind femora with 10 teeth, apical small and close to each other, basal larger and more widely separated.
Metasoma with long ovipositor, longer than the metasoma. Ovipositor sheath broad, punctured at the base.
Biology / Hosts
Coleoptera: Buprestidae, Cerambycidae and Curculionidae.
Distribution
Algeria, Egypt, Eritrea, India, Iran, Madagascar, Myanmar, Morocco, Namibia, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
