Comments
Cotesia erionatae was found parasitizing larvae of Udaspes folus (Cramer). The other reported hosts from macrolepidoptera are Erionota thrax (Linnaeus) & Erionota torus Evans and the other associated hymenopterans are Eurytoma sp. (Eurytomidae) and Pediobius erinotae Kerrich (Eulophidae) (Yu 2012). The collection of the gregarious larval braconid parasitoid Cotesia erionotae (Wilkinson) from host Udaspes folus (Cramer) from Maharashtra and Karnataka States marks an extension in its distributional range from Kerala to Maharashtra and Karnataka in peninsular India.
Geographical distribution
India, China, Guam, Hawaiian Islands, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea & Thailand.
