For X. tenuiscapa: Has been reported as X. latipes in the recent literature from southern India (e.g., Prashantha & Belavadi, 2017) based on misinterpretation of characters in the identification key of Moure and Hurd (1963). We have verified X. latipes as occurring in Northeast India. Putative X. latipes from west or south of Sikkim and northern West Bengal examined by us proved to be X. tenuiscapa.
