Diagnosis
Apterae are broadly oval, longer than wide, black with purplish-blue tinge, with white marginal wax. Intersegmental lines can be clearly seen. Nymphs yellow with thin white wax margin. Can be easily confused with whitefly/blackfly pupae. On undersides of leave, occasionally on petiole of young leaves.

Taiwan and Jawa. India: Karnataka.
Host plant(s)
Moraceae: Ficus religiosa.
Measurements
Aptera: Length of body 0.6, width 0.4; antennae 0.07, u.r.s. 0.13; h.t.2 0.05; length of the antennal segments could not be measured as antenna in aptera unsegmented and very small. Siphunculi absent and cauda knobbed and hence could not be measured.
Seasonal occurrence
January-February and June-July.
