Diagnosis

Apterae are broadly spindle-shaped and very variable in colour - yellow green, mid green, pink, magenta or wine red, with black apices to antennae, femora, tibiae and siphunculi. Body lightly dusted with fine wax powder.

Distribution

Of North American origin, now almost world-wide. India: North India, Karnataka, Maharshtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala.
